Raced over 500 metres in Bristol Docks, the Bristol Avon Regatta starts by the City's major visitor attraction, Brunel's SS Great Britain, biggest in the world when launched in 1843, and first with an iron hull and screw propellor
The Corporate Eights event enabled eight local companies to enter the Regatta with only a month's instruction.
