The Schools Head of the River 5: Crews 115 - 146

Two extra Quad Sculls categories helped swell entries from 218 crews last year to 276 in the Schools' Head of the River, Chiswick Bridge to Putney (4.25 miles). There were 19 categories in all.

Championship Eights winners were Eton for the second year, beating Abingon (2nd) and Shrewsbury (3rd). Eton's 2nd Eight won their class to complete a notable double.

Girls' Championship Eights winners were Headington with Lady Eleanor Holles second, reversing last year's result.
