Henley Royal Regatta 2007

Wednesday 4 July - Sunday 8 July

Bad weather prevented completion of the course infrastructure. The five Regatta signal boxes were missing, and the timekeepers took their cues from moored boats.

The traditional progress board and photographers box opposite the main grandstand were also missing. These scenes were shot entirely from the Regatta Enclosure stand, with none of the mid-river close-ups of previous years.

Blustery headwinds made the course difficult and inconsistent at times, with some university and club finals recording faster times than the top Grand and Ladies Challenge Plate crews.

Severe weather warnings reduced the number of private boats.
